A Message from the Headteacher to all New Pupils Starting September 2017

I have great pleasure in welcoming you and your child to All Saints Catholic High School. We look forward to seeing you at the welcome meetings taking place in April, you will be contacted with your allocated date and time in the coming days.

It will be an opportunity for you to meet myself, members of the Year 7 team who will be the key to successful transition for your child from primary to secondary school.

Your child’s transition to All Saints will also involve:

• A visit from a member of our staff to your child’s primary school to deliver welcome activities.

• A transition day on Wednesday 5th July. All children will spend a day at All Saints working with our staff and meeting others within the year group.

• New Intake Evening on Tuesday 27th or Wednesday 28th June. An opportunity for parents and carers to meet your child’s form tutor.

• If your child has a specific learning or physical need, your child will also receive an additional visit from our Learning Support team. They may also have an additional support plan designed to support their transition.

• Year 7 Induction Day-Friday 8th September at Crosby Lake Activity Centre.
